Jakarta's best kept luxury secret

What’s so secret about this place? Its price.

No need to introduce Four Seasons. You already know it, the hotel brand you admire from afar while scrolling through $10K-a-night villas in the Maldives, wondering who actually stays there besides fictional characters in The White Lotus.

Enter: Four Seasons Jakarta.
And here’s the twist—you can probably afford it.

by cété curated

This Four Seasons sits on the higher end by Jakarta standards, but it’s nowhere near the most expensive hotel in the city—and compared to other Four Seasons properties around the world, the pricing feels almost suspiciously low for the level of quality you’re getting.

From the moment you check in, the experience is unmistakably Four Seasons: polished but warm, luxurious without trying too hard. Think handwritten notes waiting in your room, and suites so large they make Parisian apartments feel like shoe boxes. The rooms are expansive, calm, and beautifully designed—ideal for travelers who appreciate space, comfort, and not feeling like their suitcase owns the room.

The facilities are exactly what you’d expect and then some: a serene spa, a well-equipped gym, and a pool area that feels like a quiet oasis filled with nature tucked away from Jakarta’s buzz.

Breakfast deserves its own paragraph. Skip your usual London brunch spot, this one wins. An à la carte menu paired with an impressively generous buffet makes it dangerously easy to linger longer than planned. It’s indulgent, relaxed, and genuinely excellent.
Come evening, head to Nautilus bar for a perfectly executed White Russian in a glamorous setting that feels timeless rather than trendy. Cété’s tip? Go upstairs to the Italian restaurant, Alto, and grab a drink on the outdoor terrace. The city views at sunset make it feel far more cinematic than the price tag suggests.

The verdict:
Four Seasons Jakarta isn’t necessarily cheap, but it’s cheap for what it is. If you’ve ever wanted the full Four Seasons experience without the financial regret, this is the one. A destination in itself, and absolutely worth the detour.

Price per night starting at £157/180€.
